Errata / Mass Lectern
Being part of the exhibition “Errata: Books Do Clutter a Room” I transmitted the same technique of Mass Vase into a bigger scale. Much like an ancient stone lectern, polyurethane is carved and then composed, all of it to respect its imperfect structure. A consistent intention of reusing industrial materials in the same manner as natural ones prevails. In this piece, the solid base upholds the more elaborated book-stand, allowing the written words to connect to our grounding.
135×40×40cm / Recycled compressed polystyrene, polyurethane and car paint.
